CRICH NEWS 16 SEPTEMBER 2015 - Frank Bagshaw

Frank Bagshaw spent an enjoyable day conducting at Crich today (Wed 16th Sept), working on London Transport E class car 1622 with driver Bill Wicks and trainee conductor Simon Mason. The museum was busy today with several coach parties of elderly visitors. Other trams in service were: Sheffield 510 and Leeds 180. Berlin 3006, the Access Tram also made a journey for a wheelchair passenger.

Crich Sept 16th. Work is proceeding in the workshop on stripping down LCC1 (Bluebird) as part of a four year restoration project. Seen here alongside Glasgow 22 which has been lifted from its truck and the body paintwork is now receiving attention.
 

Newcastle 102 has been moved the workshop at Crich for an assessment of bodywork and bogies. Seen here on September 16th. (Yippee, about time too! Kath)
